That’s how it works!

1. Sign up and register to GoingGolf

With GoingGolf, you as a golf club or tournament organizer can use a smart phone solution that makes professional live scoring for golf tournaments of amateurs possible.
Immediately after signing up with us as an organizer you can register as a user on GoingGolf.
After that you can offer the app (available for Apple, Android, or as a web application) for free download to your tournament participants.

2. The website of GoingGolf

After the login as an organizer on the website of GoingGolf you have access to all the possibilities which are needed to turn your golf tournament into an event with special entertainment value. You can enter the data of your tournament and also the data of the golf links with the help of an easy to use mask. Furthermore you can import the start list from the club administrative software (PC Caddie or Albatros) as an Excel-file or you can alternatively enter the data to GoingGolf by yourself.

3. The GoingGolf app – operational on all modern smart phones

Your participants can download the app from the iTunes store (regarding to Apple products) or from the Google Play store (regarding to Android products). Or you start the WebApp by pressing the button on the right side of this Webpage. .

4. The course of the game

Before the tournament starts one player with a smart phone per flight will be selected as the flight captain. This player will enter the data from every participant in the flight by use of the app. At the start of the tournament this flight captain will log on to the GoingGolf app on his smart phone with the use of his membership (login) number. After every played hole the score data will be entered on the app and send to the GoingGolf system. After that the leaderboard updates automatically so that you can see the current placement of the players. The leaderboard can optionally be displayed on the internet, on the club TV (for instance in the gastronomy) and one the smart phones of the other participants.
